Michael Cooper is senior director of communications and content development at the NRF Foundation. In this role, he is responsible for building and growing the Foundation’s brand, contributing to the Foundation’s initiatives to provide resources that prepare people for retail jobs that lead to promising careers.
Cooper previously directed creative services and brand management for the National Wildlife Federation. He has 25 years of experience developing award-winning strategic and creative marketing and communication for both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Cooper started his career in television, working for FOX, Animal Planet, and PBS.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Iowa and a master’s in business administration from the University of Maryland.
