The RISE Up credentials for Retail Industry Fundamentals (RIF), Customer Service & Sales (CSS) and Business of Retail (BOR) have been refreshed and are now available in the RISE Up portal.
We enhanced and modernized the curriculum with timely statistics, updated examples and current brands but the learning objectives have not changed. These changes will help your students match employers' most in-demand and emerging skills, preparing them to enter the workforce.
The supply chain industry continues to grow rapidly — and we know your students need to keep up. That is why we have retired the Warehouse Inventory & Logistics (WIL) certificate and replaced it with the Supply Chain, Inventory & Logistics (SCIL) Certification. SCIL is now available in the RISE Up portal.
The new SCIL certification builds upon the WIL key concepts and has expanded to include additional key concepts on:
Differentiating between various distribution channels and describing their business applications
Understanding reverse logistics and its goals for cost recovery and sustainability
Identifying the technology used to automate tasks and manage goods
Identifying the problem-solving roles in supply chain facility management
For classroom instruction, seat time has gone from ~9 hours for WIL to ~25 hours for SCIL.
