Shana Treger is director of learning and credentials at the NRF Foundation. In this role, she is responsible for maintaining the relevance of the Foundation’s existing suite of credentials, creating new learning programs and contributing to the Foundation’s initiatives to provide resources that prepare people for retail jobs that lead to promising careers.
Treger previously directed professional education initiatives from planning to implementation for the education arm of the National Apartment Association. She has 15 years of experience growing professional education programs by as much as 250 percent while bridging crucial gaps between technical teams, creative workers and subject-matter experts. Treger has managed a variety of education projects ranging from mobile apps for blended learning to meetings and national conferences.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from American University and a master’s in education and human development from George Washington University.
