Sam Di Scipio joined Macy's in 2017 and is senior director, corporate communications, social impact at Macy's. In this role, she leads the social impact strategy to develop programs and campaigns to build relevancy to support the company's social purpose, engagement colleagues, customers, communities and partners and meaningful impact. Within this, Sam's team lead all cause campaigns, corporate grants and colleague giving & volunteering programs. Sam also is one of the co-creators of Macy's, Inc.'s social purpose — Mission Every One — to create a brighter future with bold representation for all and is backed by commitments under the pillars people, community and planet.
Sam has a passion for unlocking the potential that companies have to play an important role in their communities, whether through smart programming, creative storytelling to share impact, great partnerships, or engaging customers and colleagues.
Sam has over 20 years of communications experience spanning internal, external, CSR and everything in between, predominantly at Avon Products in the U.K. and New York City.
