CVS Caremark is a national leader in retail pharmacy, pharmacy benefits management and retail health clinics. A Fortune 12 company with over $125 billion in sales and approximately 200,000 colleagues throughout 46 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Brazil.

Currently serving the role of Workforce Initiatives Manager, Yani manages internal and external partnerships, creating connections at various levels of partnering organizations and managing fiscal aspects of community workforce programs that lead to the acquisition of diverse talent.

Yani began her career with Eckerd in 1993; which was later acquired by CVS Pharmacy.  She started as Pharmacy Clerk, and since then has held various roles within the enterprise, including Pharmacy Technician, Store Manager, Area Recruiter, Area Trainer and Workforce Initiatives Manager.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Human Resources and is bilingual in English and Spanish, and has strong communication skills in American Sign Language. She actively participates in several CVS Colleague Resource Groups as Co-Chair of a National Group and as a member of 3 other CRGs.  In addition to her involvement within the enterprise, Yani is also involve with several external partners sitting on 3 college advisory committees and working as an adjunct instructor at a community college. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family; preferably somewhere they can all unplug (such as camping).  She also enjoys learning about cultural differences, religions, and languages.
