David Porter, is originally from Deland Florida and has been in leadership positions for approximately 15 years, both in Food and Beverage programs and Retail Management. He is currently the General Manager for Marshall Retail Group (MRG) at the Denver International Airport (DEN), he has been with MRG for 2 years, with a total of 5 years at the airport. David began his career at DEN working for Paradies Shops operating their Food & Beverage program and supporting their retail locations.  Since joining MRG on 08/24/2016, David has led tremendous growth from 3 locations to 7 at DEN, MRG specializes in retail and fashion.  He currently operates 5 news and gifts locations, and 2 Flight Stop kiosks in the main terminal. Additionally, he oversees two fashion locations with Tumi travel luggage and Misura men's and woman's outdoor clothing store. David’s team includes 8 managers and approximately 80 employees. David’s passion is developing and inspiring his staff to develop themselves professionally and personally, MRG utilizes a Personal Growth Plan to help grow existing staff into leadership positions, which has helped to facilitate continued growth at DEN. David’s vision is to continue to partner with the Denver Workforce Center to develop new and innovative platforms to facilitate continued growth for businesses at DEN.
