We’ve worked to scale a sustainable model where we have newness and innovation across the board.
Kerry Cooper discovered her love of retail at Levi’s, where as senior vice president of retail and planning she launched Dockers.com. Expanding her experience in marketing, merchandising, supply chain and fulfillment, Cooper also held leadership roles at Walmart and Modcloth.com.
As the former president and COO of Rothy’s, Cooper helmed the brand creating chic, lasting, endlessly wearable products with as little environmental impact as possible. Redefining expectations of comfort, style and sustainability, Rothy’s transforms single-use plastic water bottles into beautiful shoes.
“We view sustainability as core to our DNA, and are building a beautiful shoe that women love to wear and talk about,” Cooper says. “It’s the culmination of all those different pieces for me — it’s been such a fun brand to grow.”
And the sustainability goes deeper than the obvious. Cooper says Rothy’s whole brand model works together with design and the consumer experience.
“Rothy’s is this incredible balance of innovation, beautiful design and sustainability that I’m lucky to have the opportunity to shape,” Cooper says. “I hope that others behind us can find, create or build their own version of that same thing.”
