It’s only by developing others that you permanently succeed.
Ann-Marie Campbell launched her career as a part-time cashier at The Home Depot, where she has built a career over more than three decades.
“I’ve been in retail for a long time, from the ground up,” Campbell says. “I did run a register, I did work on the sales floor and I did hold every single position in the store.”
Campbell built an extraordinary career in retail and says she is proud that she has been able to succeed professionally while at the same time maintaining a strong marriage and raising two sons.
Professionally, her biggest motivation is to develop others and cultivate the next generation of leaders.
“I’m appreciative of the people who invested in me, and I found the time to invest in others,” Campbell says. “We can create an environment where you can do your best and you’ll get opportunities.”
