Shipping Information

Incoming packages

Shipping for the career fair can only be received between January 1-9, 2025.

Packages must have the name of an individual who will be on site at the Student Program, picking up/opening the packages.

NRF Foundation Student Program

If you are participating in the technology or supply chain breakouts on Friday January 10, you must pick up your packages at the FedEx office on the 7th floor of the Marriott Marquis. FedEx can identify packages by name, tracking number, or FedEx account number. We recommend separating out your materials and designating specific boxes for Friday’s breakout(s) vs. for Saturday’s career fair. This will make it easier to pick up just the packages you need for Friday.

Otherwise, all shipments not picked up early will be dropped in the Westside Ballroom at your designated space on Saturday morning for Career Fair setup.

The FedEx Office operating hours are:

• Mon.-Fri.: 7:00 AM — 7:00 PM

• Sat.: 8:00 AM — 5:00 PM

• Sun.: 8:00 AM — 5:00 PM

Outgoing Packages

FedEx can ship all outgoing packages back to your offices. Please bring pre-printed return labels with your account information included. If you do not have shipping labels, FedEx can assist you in creating a label, but we recommend you prepare your return labels in advance to avoid long wait times.

If your company uses a different courier, FedEx can get them to your courier as long as you have the return shipping labels ready.

We also recommend packing basic supplies such as packing tape, scissors, zip ties, etc. to close boxes and packages at the end of the career fair.

Please note: FedEx will charge a handling fee for all packages, and will ask representatives on site for payment before they can take your boxes via a form. You can provide your FedEx account number, or credit card information on site. If you take your boxes back upstairs to the FedEx business center on the 7th floor after the Career Fair, the handling fees are cheaper. If your boxes are too large to carry and need to be picked up from the Career Fair room, higher fees will apply. The handling fees can be found here.

Anything left in the Westside Ballroom in the Marriott Marquis at the end of the Career Fair will be thrown out.

Security Information

Marriott Emergency Protocols

Marriott security is available 24 hours a day and NRFF has hired a private security agency during event functions.

In case of medical or other true emergency, dial 6666 from any Marriott house phone (located on conference room walls) or alert a Marriott staff member in a red blazer.

Marriott will use their internal PA system for building-wide emergencies.

In case of an evacuation, Marriott staff will direct all guests to The Westin Hotel Times Square, 270 West 43rd St at 8th Avenue.

Notify Annalea or Samantha of any major emergencies.

Parking

Valet daily rate: $70

There are several parking garages available in the Times Square area. We highly suggest taking an Uber/Lyft/Taxi or public transportation for ease of access to the hotel.

Dress Code

Students will be in professional dress, but we encourage company representatives to dress to reflect their brand.

Meals

Meals served on Friday & Saturday in the 6th floor foyer are reserved for students and educators. On Saturday, there will be a breakroom at the career fair in the Westside Ballroom on the 5th floor that will have food and drinks available to recruiters.

Printing

The FedEx office located on the 7th floor of the Marriott Marquis can assist if you need to print anything onsite.
