The highest honor that the NRF Foundation can bestow upon a student features a top award of $25,000 and recognition as an emerging leader in retail. 

The 2025 NRF Foundation University Challenge – our business competition for teams of two to four undergraduates studying all majors – opens soon. Get real-world experience, make your pitch to retail leaders and your team could earn up to $30,000 in scholarships.

Students with an interest in store leadership could earn a $10,000 tuition scholarship, a trip to New York City to attend the NRF Foundation Student Program, and the opportunity to meet with CVS Health.

The NRF Foundation Bright Futures Scholarship is a need-based scholarship that offers the opportunity for students to attend the NRF Foundation Student Program in New York City, free of charge. The NRF Foundation Student Program offers students the chance to explore exciting career paths in the retail industry and accelerate their careers.

The NRF Foundation Ray Greenly Scholarship provides the opportunity to undergraduates pursuing a technology major (computer science, engineering or data science) or a supply chain major to receive free travel and hotel accommodations to attend the NRF Foundation Student Program.

The NRF Foundation Rising Stars Scholarship helps freshmen and sophomores attend the NRF Foundation Student Program to explore the variety of opportunities in the industry early in their academic careers.

Each NRF University Member School has a student ambassador that connects the campus to key resources from the NRF Foundation. Check with the advisor at your school to learn about this leadership opportunity – and its $1,000 scholarship. Ambassadors for the 2024 calendar year must be nominated here by the university's NRF Foundation advisor.
