The NRF Foundation Ray Greenly Retail Tech & Supply Chain Scholarship recognizes ambitious students who are passionate about technology, supply chain, analytics, and innovation. Recipients have the curiosity, leadership potential, and problem-solving mindset needed to shape what’s NXT in retail.
The NRF Foundation Ray Greenly Retail Tech & Supply Chain Scholarship offers the opportunity for technology and supply chain students to attend the 2027 NRF NXT (formerly known as NRF Foundation Student Program) in New York City, Jan. 7-10, 2027, free of charge. Retail companies, including some of the most exciting brands in the country, are driving big tech innovation.
NRF NXT introduces exciting career paths that might not have been considered, with sessions highlighting the impact tech, supply chain, fulfillment, and data and analytics jobs have on retail businesses.
Undergraduate college students pursuing a technology major (computer science, engineering, data science, etc.) or a supply chain major, you could be eligible to receive FREE travel and hotel accommodations to attend the annual NRF NXT in New York City.
By attending this conference, you will have the opportunity to meet with dozens of retail recruiters hiring for technology and supply chain roles, hear from top leaders and executives in the industry, and explore the most exciting store locations in NYC.
Before starting the application, ensure you meet all of the following qualifications. The deadline to apply for this opportunity is October 20, 2026.
Undergraduate-level sophomore, junior or senior in Jan. 2027
Currently pursuing a technology or supply chain major
Enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university in the United States
Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
At least one job or internship related to your field of study or area(s) of interest
Have not previously attended the NRF NXT (formerly NRF Foundation Student Program) through a scholarship from the NRF Foundation.
Must be available to attend the full NRF NXT conference in New York City from January 7 - 10, 2027.
International students, at a US based college or university, may apply as long as all other eligibility requirements are met.
Students will be notified if they are selected. If you are selected to attend, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions to register. Hotel accommodation will be reserved on your behalf.
If you are selected to attend, the information you submit will be used to assist in securing your travel arrangements. Please provide your personal details as they are written on your travel documents.
You will be contacted directly by the NRF Foundation regarding the status of your application. Our goal is to notify all students by November 20, 2026.
Ray Greenly was Vice President of Research and Member Services for Shop.org, the digital division of the National Retail Federation, before losing a year-long fight with cancer in the fall of 2005.
Established in Ray Greenly's memory, this scholarship provides financial support to students pursuing a degree in fields most relevant to digital retail such as supply chain, IT, technology, engineering, computer science, operations management.
The NRF Foundation Ray Greenly Retail Tech & Supply Chain Scholarship recognizes outstanding students who are passionate about the technology, data, systems, and supply chain operations that power the retail industry. Recipients are innovative thinkers and future leaders with the potential to shape what's NXT in retail.
