As vice president, government affairs, Reginald is responsible for leading the strategic development and management of the company’s relationships with federal, state, and local government regulators, policymakers, and political influencers to enable Lowe’s efficient delivery of the right products to customers and strengthen the company’s brand. He has served in this role since 2018. Lowe’s named Reginald among its 2020 Officers of Excellence.
Reginald, an attorney, has held several executive roles since joining Lowe’s in 2007. His first position was senior counsel for employment litigation, where he managed employment related lawsuits and counseled his business clients on positive employment practices. Promoted to vice president and associate general counsel, Reginald’s executive role with the legal department expanded to include responsibilities for corporate transactions, government transactions and compliance, and commercial law. Henderson later served in the executive role responsible for enterprise-wide talent management. SAVOY® magazine named Reginald among the Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America and among the Most Influential Black Lawyers.
Prior to Lowe’s, Reginald held several leadership positions at BNSF Railway Company, The Watkins Law Office, and the U.S. Department of Labor, where he led human resources compliance, equal opportunity, and internal investigation functions.
Reginald earned a bachelor's degree in politics from Hendrix College, a Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas, and a master's in labor and employment law from Georgetown University. He is a member of the board of directors for the NC Chamber of Commerce; executive committee member of the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance and Alliance Foundation Board member; as well as a member of the board of advisors for UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business and the NC Institute for Emerging Issues.
In his spare time, Reginald enjoys traveling worldwide, hiking, playing the piano, and volunteering.
