Nira Johri is the first-ever Chief Sustainability Office for KFC, where she leads the global Done the Right Way enterprise strategy, encompassing ambitious goals for people, food, planet. Nira has spent over half her career in food sustainability, leading global transformations for large corporations – including Rich Products and Unilever and partnering with cocoa sector companies such as Mars, Nestle and Cargill. In her past life, she served in the Obama administration championing Asia-Pacific policy priorities.
Throughout her career, she has been a passionate supporter of the development of women leaders. She is the Board Chair for Equal Origins, a non-profit dedicated to gender equity in cocoa and coffee supply chains and was named a top 100 DEI Executive by Diversity MBA. She holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge and recently completed an Executive Certificate in Sustainability Leadership from Harvard University.
