The NRF Foundation Honors is returning to New York City and will honor The List of People Shaping Retail’s Future 2022:

  • Five Below, Inc. President & CEO Joel Anderson
  • McDonald's Corporation President & CEO Chris Kempczinski
  • Former CVS Health Executive Vice President and Former CVS Pharmacy President Neela Montgomery
  • Chewy, Inc. CEO Sumit Singh
  • The RealReal Founder and CEO Julie Wainwright

“We look forward to celebrating the retail professionals who have dedicated their careers to building better lives and stronger communities,” NRF Foundation Executive Director Bill Thorne says. “The dynamic retail leaders on The List 2022 are dedicated to sparking innovation and creating opportunities in the industry that impacts people in every community every single day.”

Throughout the fall, the NRF Foundation will feature each member of The List in new, on-demand episodes of “20 Questions” on NRF’s YouTube channel, giving an inside look at how each leader has built an exciting career in retail, what they see for the future of the industry and more.

“This year’s honorees have each led their companies through incredible changes,” says Jeff Gennette, chairman and CEO of Macy’s, Inc. and chairman of the NRF Foundation Board of Directors. “They have remained steadfast in their commitment to their teams and communities and I am proud to recognize The List 2022’s influence on our industry.”

The NRF Foundation Honors will be co-hosted by Gennette and National Retail Federation Board Chairman Mike George, who is retiring this year as president and CEO of Qurate Retail, Inc. In addition to honoring The List and The Visionary – Target Board Chairman and CEO Brian Cornell – the NRF Foundation will recognize a community partner making a difference with our RISE Up retail skills training and announce the recipients of our undergraduate scholarships.

Since 2015, the Honors has raised the funds to continue to provide programs and resources that connect people to an industry that’s a great place to start and grow. Join us in New York City and be a part of the story of how retail builds extraordinary careers.
