Lots of walking – and some of it outside in the elements – means you’ll need footwear options. You will be meeting with recruiters and industry leaders, so be prepared and present the best version of yourself. You want to make a professional impression. Take a look at last year’s gallery to see inspiration from other students. Have copies of your resume (we recommend 10-15) to hand out, a notebook, and a pen to write notes and contact info as needed. You can have a professor, mentor, or career services at your school review your resume ahead of time to ensure you're putting your best foot forward.
Making a list ahead of time can help reduce the chance of something getting forgotten. You can make your list and check it twice. Here’s a quick example check list to make sure you’ve packed the essentials, but be sure to add any personal items you may need to travel with. The Marriott Marquis has a convenience store with most necessities available if anything is forgotten.
