In his role as executive director of the NRF Foundation, Bill Thorne oversees the initiatives that connect people to an industry that’s a great place to start and a great place to grow.
“There are so many inspiring stories that I am humbled to share on behalf of the people who have built extraordinary careers with our programs and resources,” Thorne says. “I am beyond thankful to our supporters for believing in this industry and in the NRF Foundation.”
Since 2015, the NRF Foundation Honors has raised the funds needed to help people of all backgrounds build better lives and stronger communities. The evening recognizes The Visionary, The List of People Shaping Retail’s Future and a community partner that is making an impact with NRF Foundation retail skills training. And the evening also features the announcements of the recipients of the NRF Foundation’s undergraduate scholarships.
